August 19th Sturgeon Full moon will be a Supermoon. A Supermoon is when the moon is at closest point to the Earth, a phenomenon known as an extreme perigee. A Perigee station lends the Moon appear even larger than the normal Full Moon. It will also be a rare blue supermoon. A blue moon is when four full moons in a single season, in this case summer.
