Once in a Blue Moon: Sturgeon Aquarius Full Moon
This August will provide us with two Full Moons. August 22’s full moon,
called a Blue Moon, gets its name from being the second such transit in a same
calendar month. In the sign of Aquarius, it derives the Sturgeon name from the time
when those fish are caught in Great Lakes in the summer season.
