Today we will address the Trifecta of phenomena Friday,
February 10 will bring us, namely the Comet, Penumbra Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon in February, know as a Snow Moon.
1) Comets- with regards to comets, astrologically, the jury
is still out. While there is some speculation about what effects they might have,
it would be in our best interest to leave such speculation out of this forecast
and dwell upon known planets (i.e. the Moon) and what will occur to it at this time.
Comet
45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdušáková will be visible at its closest approach to
Earth on the morning of February 11 as it passes by at a distance of 7.4
million miles (11.9 million kilometers) or 30 times further away than the moon.
You maybe able to see it with binoculars and telescopes
2) Eclipse: The
Penumbral Eclipse (Partial Eclipse) will be partly visible from most places on
Earth except for Australia and Japan. The moment of greatest eclipse is at 4:43
p.m. PT and then dissipate some two hours later
To reiterate my previous writings on the matter, Eclipses, in astrology, provides greater
insight into that part of ones consciousness using the lens of the sign
that’s the moon or sun is in. For example, this lunar eclipse, occurring while
Moon is in Leo, may make you very aware of some ego needs you haven’t addressed.
Whether for affirmation, approval or acknowledgement, the eclipse will draw
such concerns foremost into your awareness.
3) Transit: Full Moons are good times for completion
of projects and endeavors. This being a Leo Full Moon, you should devote yourself
to any needs or emotion issues that let you express yourself. For the next
three days, define the roles that you must play to get your needs met. Do you need
to take charge? Do you need support? Do
you feel your life reflects who you are and your best attributes?
The Moon also
governs psychic energy and intuition, so you may want to consult an oracle or a
source of divination that puts you in touch with yourself, personal requirements
and ways to fulfill them. If there are any doubts or question of what really
matters to you, the eclipse will ensue that you embrace your true intentions
and not some facile, vain expectation.
Leo, the empowerment this moon provides comes at a cost;
honesty. What are your needs and what must you do to fill those needs? This
moment doesn’t require full exertion but it does require commitment to your truth
and work to fulfill that truth.
Aquarius, the Full moon may provide a new role
for you to play. Rather than seek consensus, you may need to focus upon your
own requirements, deciding upon what needs you’ve neglect for the sake of
others and what you must do to bolsters your own works.
Taurus and Scorpio,
the Moon may urge you to address some concern you been conveniently overlooking.
The matter seem small, but like all things effected by a lunar transit, you’ll
find there is much more to it and the stakes in involve are higher than may
have acknowledge previously. Much to be
gain but it requires some dedication and work repair the matter.
As we bask in
the glow of the Snow Moon and its subsequent eclipse, take the time to better
understand who you are and what you need. Inner strength comes when we nurture
and feed our inner resources.
